In rare cases, the file named main.ttw in the save data of 7 days to die may be broken for some reason and saved data can not be started.
Data can be restored to a certain extent if it can return to the state just before it breaks. With this tool you can back up main.ttw every minute and restore it or delete it.
Extract the downloaded file and start MainTTWBackup.exe.
Set the folder with the main.ttw file in save folder.
On Windows 7, the files are listed below. (It may be changed depending on installation drive and OS)
C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\Saves\Random Gen\[save data name]
After setting the folder, press the run button and back up the main.ttw file every Sleep Time (minute) time interval.
If you want to end the backup, press the cancel button to exit.
If save data is corrupted, select the restore tab. Select main.ttw for the time you want to restore and press the restore button to restore it to main.ttw.
You can delete the extra data on the backup tab. Select the data and press the delete button to delete it.
